Warum?

Warum?

Ja, wir dürfen verschieden sein!

Das ist die große Möglichkeit voneinander

zu profitieren, um den Horizont weit zu

machen, vielleicht sogar unendlich weit!

Aber gemeinsam! Miteinander!

Ja, es ist ein Vision! Nenne mich naiv, nenne

herum!

Cur?

Domine, aut quocumque nomine nominaris

in hac terra, quam habito, cur tanta

solitudine, tanta inopia affectus sum?

Pertimesco, ne nos homines non iam inter

nos magni aestimemus, ne non iam nobis

ignoscamus, ne nos contumeliis afficiamus,

ne conspiremus, nobis odio simus, animos

contra nos accendamus, nos verberemus,

quin etiam inter nos interficiamus.

Cur?

Immo, nobis licet differre!

Haec est opportunitas lucrum ex altero

capiendi, ut fines nostros proferamus,

fortasse etiam in immensum.

Sed omnes communes! Ad unum omnes!

Certe, hoc est somnium! Me simplicem

appelles, me hominem stultum dicas, sed sine

somniis non habitare volo in hac terra, in

terra omnium nostrum!

Tibi gratias ago, Domine, aut quocumque

nomine nominaris in hac terra, quam habito,

propter tutelam et caritatem, quas ab

hominibus vicinis accipio!

Haec spes est! Tibi maximas gratias ago!

12 Caprices for flute (Pierre Rode)
Brenndorff, Mathias von
article nr.MB003

flute

Selected etudes from the collection of 24 caprices for violin by Pierre Rode (1774 - 1830).
The pieces have been arranged according to the contemporary demands of technique and sound and the range of the modern flute. Edited by Mathias von Brenndorff

RECENSIONS:
Flöte aktuell / 01-2018
Demanding etudes through the circle of fifths, lines, jumps, changing of registers and the upper range of the flute are asked and the practising player will be rewarded for his effort. What is good for violinsts, can be even better for fluteplayers.
Tibia / 03-2019
Both collections of etudes (MB001 and MB003) are a valuable addition for professional and early professional flutists, but also for - they exist as well -  virtuos amateurs. Highly recommeded!
PAN / 07-2019 (magazine of the Britsh Flute Society)
The music is fun to play and full of little technical challenges. Learning these would be a great summer project for advanced players looking for something a bit different.
