Born in 1959 in Fulda
• studied art and music at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen and at the same drums and jazz at the Music Workshop and Dr. Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt.
• 1986-1991 classical percussion studies with Michael Dietz (Academy of Musical Arts Darmstadt)
• 1990, 1992 and 1994, 2000 scholarships from the International Summer School of the IMD (Class Steven Schick, percussion and James Wood, percussion and composition, Isabel Mundry, Hans Zender, composition, Isao Nakamura and Mircea Ardelaenu)
• programs for solo percussion instruments, the commitment of the Staatstheater Darmstadt and Wiesbaden, as well as new music ensembles and orchestras
• concerts at home and abroad, especially on New Music Events
• interpretations and compositions are recorded and broadcast by radio.
• Lecturer and Director of Percussion Ensemble, based in Frankfurt am Main since 1993. He could it since then to combine the work as a cultural manager, composer, freelance musician and soloist and as artistic director of each other.
